Automobili Mignatta is a new Italian car brand that is about to debut in the world of sports cars.
The brand, based in Valfenera d’Asti in the Piedmont region, has revealed the first images of the Rina, a two-seater speedster that aims to blend cutting-edge technology with the timeless appeal of 1960s sports cars.
The Rina will be built with a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and will feature lightweight carbon fiber panels. The teasers now revealed by the brand showcase a classic speedster profile, with a long hood, pronounced arches, and an alluring rear end.
Design details of the Rina also include darkened headlights, compact side mirrors, rollover protection arches, sculpted buttresses, and a prominent rear spoiler. Additionally, the rear features round LED taillights.
Automobili Mignatta will equip the Rina with a naturally aspirated V8 engine positioned in a front-mid layout, which will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential to provide a more purist driving experience.
The new Italian brand has not revealed details about the interior of the Rina, but announced that the seats will be molded directly into the carbon monocoque and that the car will not be equipped with a radio.
Automobili Mignatta also announced that it intends to unveil the Rina on May 8, and that the model will have a limited production of 30 units.
