Honda has announced the arrival of the new CR-V e: Hybrid in the national market, available in the “Lifestyle” version. The new CR-V e:HEV completes the sixth generation of the model, which already included the CR-V Plug-in, launched last December, and strengthens the brand’s electrified range.
The new flagship is available with the option of a 100% hybrid traction unit (e:HEV), a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle gasoline engine with four cylinders and direct injection, which has been revised to improve efficiency and dynamic performance.
Charging is done through the engine, which drives an electric generator, complemented by a regenerative braking system, which contributes to battery charging and extends electric range. With a full battery and a full fuel tank, the CR-V Hybrid announces a range of up to 960 km.
Maintaining the characteristic lines of the model, the new CR-V e:HEV comes with a bold design. The rear continues the design in an intelligent evolution by keeping the recognizable taillights of the previous generation CR-V, innovating with a vertical combination of brake lights and turn signals. This look is further complemented by 18″ alloy wheels.
The model also stands out for its comfortable interior with leather upholstery, heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, as well as tinted windows and panoramic view. In addition, the Honda SUV features a 587-liter trunk, which can reach 1642 liters with the rear seats folded down.
The new CR-V e:HEV is equipped with a state-of-the-art connectivity system featuring a 10.2″ digital instrument panel and a 9″ touchscreen with navigation system and compatibility with Apple Car Play or Android Auto, wirelessly.
