Novo Dodge Charger apontado à Europa em 2025

Fans of “muscle cars” in Europe and the Middle East will have access to the new Dodge Charger, which will arrive in these markets in the second half of 2025.

The “Carscoops” website, which reported the news, adds that a company spokesperson confirmed that the new Charger will be available in European and Middle Eastern markets in all variants, meaning both two-door and four-door versions, as well as with internal combustion and electric engines.

It should be noted that in the U.S., the first new Charger to hit the market was the coupe with an electric motor, known as the Charger Daytona, which is available in two configurations. An entry-level version with two electric motors producing 456 hp and 547 Nm of maximum torque, powered by a 100.5 kWh battery.

The top version, the Daytona Scat Pack, offers 630 hp and 849 Nm of maximum torque, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.

For fans of internal combustion engines, there are also two options available, in coupe and sedan formats, both equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder Hurricane engine. A base version with 420 hp and 637 Nm is joined by the more powerful variant with 550 hp and 746 Nm of maximum torque.

One point to consider for purists is that none of these versions come equipped with a manual transmission, as both models feature the new 880RE eight-speed automatic transmission, based on the fourth-generation ZF unit that replaces the outgoing TorqueFlite 8HP70 found in previous Charger and Challenger models.
