Thierry Neuville Fires Warning at Elfyn Evans: “Every Good Thing Has an End”

In a thrilling turn of events in the world of rally racing, defending champion Thierry Neuville has issued a chilling warning to his competitor, Elfyn Evans. Despite acknowledging Evans’ impressive performance in the 2025 season, Neuville made it clear that no driver is safe from the fierce competition in the sport.

“Game recognizes game,” Neuville stated, praising Evans for his stellar start to the season. However, he quickly shifted gears to remind Evans that success in the elite level of rally racing is fleeting. “He’s doing great, but you know every good thing has an end,” Neuville ominously declared.

Drawing parallels to their performances in the previous year, Neuville highlighted the significant lead Evans currently holds over him. While history may suggest Evans is on track to claim the championship, Neuville cautioned that WRC titles are not won based on past achievements alone.

Evans, on the other hand, credited his strong start to the season to his satisfaction with the car during pre-event tests. Feeling comfortable behind the wheel has allowed Evans to naturally find speed, setting the stage for a fierce competition in the races to come.

Both Neuville and Evans are gearing up for the upcoming Rally Islas Canarias, where fans can expect a showdown between the two formidable drivers. With tensions running high and the stakes even higher, the battle for rally supremacy is set to reach new heights this season.
