Novitec’s Ferrari Roma Spider: Naught-to-62 in a Blazing 3.2 Seconds!

In the world of high-performance luxury cars, Novitec has once again made its mark with the newly-tuned Ferrari Roma Spider. Building upon the success of its coupe counterpart, this modified roadster packs a serious punch. The renowned tuner claims that the engine now churns out an impressive 694 horsepower (704 ps/518 kW) at 7,400 rpm, with a peak torque of 651 lb-ft (882 Nm) at 3,750 rpm.

Compared to the stock 3.9L twin-turbo V8 engine, which delivers 611 horsepower (620 ps/456 kW) between 5,750 and 7,500 rpm, and 561 pound-feet (760 Nm) of torque at 3,000-5,750 rpm, the Novitec-tuned Roma Spider is a force to be reckoned with. Accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in just 3.4 seconds, the upgraded version shaves off even more time, reaching the same speed in a mere 3.2 seconds. And if that’s not enough, the top speed has been pushed beyond 202 mph (325 kph), up from the stock 199 mph (320 kph).

But Novitec didn’t stop at enhancing the straight-line performance of this exotic convertible. The tuner also added a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, designed to reduce front-axle lift at high speeds and improve stability. The carbon grille, trim below the headlamps, rocker panels, side mirror caps, and diffuser all contribute to the car’s aggressive and aerodynamic appearance. Completing the package are the sleek black tailpipes, seamlessly integrated into the production exhaust system.

To further enhance the Roma Spider’s aesthetics and performance, Novitec collaborated with Vossen to develop a set of stunning wheels. The NF 11 wheels, measuring 21 inches at the front axle and 22 inches at the rear, perfectly complement the car’s bold design. These wheels are paired with 255/30 and 315/25 tires for optimal grip and control. Additionally, Novitec offers lowering springs that reduce the ride height by approximately 1.4 inches (35 mm), giving the Roma Spider an even more aggressive stance. For added convenience, the springs can be combined with a front-lift system, making it easier to navigate steep ramps and speed bumps.

Inside the cabin, Novitec offers a wide range of customization options. With an extensive selection of fine leather upholstery and Alcantara in various colors, owners can personalize their Roma Spider to suit their taste and style. While the exact pricing for these upgrades remains undisclosed, Novitec guarantees a luxurious and personalized driving experience.

If you’re a proud owner of the Ferrari Roma Spider, Novitec’s comprehensive package is certainly worth considering. Whether you’re seeking a power boost or looking to enhance the interior, Novitec has you covered. Ultimately, the choice is yours, but there’s no denying the allure of the extra oomph that Novitec brings to the table.
