Frankie Muniz, the celebrated star of “Malcolm in the Middle” and “Agent Cody Banks,” is no stranger to the limelight. But now, he’s steering his fame into a different lane – NASCAR racing. His journey from Hollywood to the racetrack hasn’t been smooth, with sponsorship proving to be a significant challenge. However, Muniz’s persistence and dedication seem to have paid off as he recently announced a significant breakthrough in his racing career.
Muniz has secured a four-race sponsorship deal with Morgan & Morgan, America’s largest injury law firm, valued at $1.5 billion. Muniz’s No. 33 Ford F-150, part of the Reaume Brothers Racing team, will don the law firm’s black and yellow colors at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and three other races. The sponsorship doesn’t just cover the race funding; it also includes featuring Muniz in the law firm’s marketing campaigns.
Muniz expressed his excitement about the partnership on social media, stating, “Never thought I would make partner of a law firm@forthepeople! Nevermind partner with America’s Largest Injury Law Firm!…Can’t wait to race the Morgan & Morgan & Muniz truck this Friday night in Las Vegas and a bunch of other times during this NASCAR season.” He further stated his admiration for the law firm’s mission and gratitude for their support in his racing endeavors.
This partnership isn’t Morgan & Morgan’s first venture into NASCAR sponsorships. They previously collaborated with Richard Childress Racing, featuring on the No. 3 and No. 8 Chevy throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Muniz and Morgan & Morgan will also be contributing to a charitable cause. During the Michigan race weekend, they plan to make a substantial donation to the Henry Ford Children’s Hospital’s Children’s Bear Program in Detroit. The law firm has a history of such philanthropic endeavors, having donated $100,000 to support the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma in the past.
Transitioning from acting to racing has been a significant shift for Muniz. He’s found that unlike acting, where success is subjective and based on audience opinions, racing results are concrete and indisputable – you either win, or you don’t. Despite the challenges and scrutiny, Muniz has proven his dedication to racing with a commendable performance in the ARCA Menards Series 2023 and the NASCAR Truck Series.
2025 has begun on a positive note with Muniz securing solid top-10 results in the season-opening race at Daytona. With the backing of Morgan & Morgan and his relentless passion for racing, the future looks promising for Muniz. Will we soon see him vying for a playoff spot or even the championship in the NASCAR Cup Series? Only time will tell.
