Especialista da NASCAR alega que Tony Stewart informou à SHR que ele não possui fundos para operar este local.

The NASCAR community was shocked by the surprising decision made by Tony Stewart and Gene Haas. It was announced that Stewart Haas Racing will be closing its doors at the end of the season. The team owners made this announcement to both the public and the team last year. There have been several speculations about the reasons behind SHR’s closure.

Many rumors have circulated suggesting that financial difficulties faced by Tony Stewart played a significant role in the decision. A former SHR driver, who left the team last year, even claimed that his departure and the subsequent loss of sponsorship revenue contributed to the team’s downfall. A member of the defending champion’s team also confirmed the validity of these rumors.

During a meeting at SHR, Tony Stewart openly admitted that he did not have the funds to continue running the team. He acknowledged that SHR had been operating at a loss for years and had run out of money. This revelation caught everyone off guard.

A member of the Ford Mustang team #12 clarified the ownership dynamics at SHR. He explained that Gene Haas had always been the main financial contributor to the team, while Tony Stewart mainly brought talent. Stewart received ownership stake in SHR as a way to transition from Joe Gibbs Racing.

Ryan Flores’s explanation emphasizes Gene Haas’s significant financial involvement in NASCAR operations. As the team’s performance declined and financial difficulties increased, they were forced to make the tough decision to close down.
