A shocking blow to RFK Racing as NASCAR slams Brad Keselowski and team with a $75,000 fine and points deduction following Kansas Speedway scandal.

The high-speed drama at Kansas Speedway took a drastic turn for Brad Keselowski and RFK Racing as NASCAR delivered a devastating penalty after a tumultuous race weekend. Keselowski’s fiery performance on the track was overshadowed by heartbreak as a sudden tire pressure issue forced him to a disappointing 37th place finish, marking his fifth DNF of the year. Despite the setbacks, Keselowski remained hopeful, emphasizing the team’s potential for success.

However, the storm was far from over for RFK Racing as NASCAR targeted Chris Buescher, the team’s most consistent driver this season, with a massive penalty following his impressive eighth-place finish at Kansas. The post-race inspection revealed a violation related to the car’s front bumper cover, leading to a significant blow for Buescher and the team.

The violation of Rulebook Sections 14.1.C and 14.5.4.G resulted in an L1 penalty for RFK Racing, including a hefty $75,000 fine, a deduction of 60 driver and owner points, five playoff points, and a two-race suspension for crew chief Scott Graves. The repercussions were immediate and severe, causing Buescher to plummet in the standings and putting the team’s playoff prospects in jeopardy.

The penalty not only impacted Buescher but also had broader implications for RFK Racing, affecting their position in both the driver and owner standings. With Keselowski’s struggles and minimal support from Ryan Preece, the team faces an uphill battle to regain momentum and secure their spot in the playoffs.

Stay tuned for more updates on this evolving situation that has sent shockwaves through the NASCAR community.
