Mercedes has announced plans for the launch of Mythos, a brand of ultra-luxurious models in 2022, and has now returned to the subject in the document detailing the results of 2023.
The German brand described Mythos as a sub-brand dedicated to “highly exclusive collectible cars,” which will be produced in small quantities and sold to the “most dedicated enthusiasts and collectors of Mercedes-Benz.”
For now, little is known about the new models that are expected to arrive in 2025 from Mythos, but the German brand has revealed a teaser of what could be its first model, which bears similarities to the new Mercedes SL.
It is worth noting that the Stuttgart-based company already has a luxury model division, Maybach, which saw its sales increase by 19% in 2023 compared to 2022, thus revealing that luxury cars are a profitable segment for Mercedes.
