Images captured by drone raise the question: is this the Tesla Model 2?
Tesla continues to excel in car sales: for the first time in history, a 100% electric model has claimed the title of the world’s best-selling car, and it is the Model Y, dethroning the Toyota RAV4, which now holds second place in the list of best-selling cars of 2023.
But Elon Musk’s company is not slowing down, and they already have an unprecedented “low-cost” model in the works, which could bring even more impressive numbers to Tesla. The promised “$25,000 Tesla” would be a small crossover codenamed Redwood (the Model 2 designation is not confirmed), and Tesla has already requested quotes from its suppliers, expecting a production volume of around 10,000 vehicles per week.
And now, many believe that the new electric vehicle, announced for the second half of 2025, has already been spotted at the brand’s factory in Berlin.
The drone images circulating on social media fuel the doubt about a test unit parked outside, which could very well be a “mule” of the new affordable Tesla, or any other project from the company.
