The Purosangue is the first four-seater, four-door cavallino rampante, but Ferrari has made sure not to compromise its sporty character, which explains, for example, the decision to use the V12 engine that has been a part of Maranello’s DNA since the production of its first car, the 125 S, in 1947. From the factory, this engine has 6.5 liters and 725 hp, which may not be enough for an even more demanding type of customer.
And it is with these customers in mind that Pogea Racing is already working on a tuning package to offer a more muscular image and performance to the Purosangue. The German tuner has developed a kit consisting of a set of ten-spoke forged aluminum wheels, with 23″ in the front and 24″ in the back; various carbon fiber body elements; and a more aggressive rear diffuser with four centrally positioned exhaust tips. The 6.5-V12 engine sees its power “stretched” to 820 hp, 105 hp more than in the “stock” Purosangue. More information will be revealed during the official presentation of the model.
