The Mondego Automotive Group has been awarded the “Rising Star” prize, one of the most significant distinctions from Hyundai Motors Europe. This award recognizes the Portuguese automotive group as one of the best dealerships in Europe, based on its performance level and growth.
The award ceremony took place on September 20 at the Hyundai dealership in Antanhol, in the Coimbra region, and was attended by several representatives of the Korean brand in Portugal.
“All these recognitions we have received from Hyundai Portugal and now from Hyundai Motor Europe represent a tremendous source of pride for our entire team. These awards highlight the acknowledgment of the work of a vast team of professionals operating in various areas of the automotive industry, and everyone deserves congratulations. As I have had the opportunity to state, this has been a demanding year, with ongoing challenges, particularly in terms of the rise of electrification, but we have managed to overcome all the obstacles we face,” said André Figueiredo, CEO of the Mondego Automotive Group.
For his part, Filipe Almeida, Director of Product, Planning, and Network Development at Hyundai Portugal, noted that “the Mondego Automotive Group is a very important partner for Hyundai Portugal and has demonstrated a level of performance and excellence that makes us very proud, and proof of this is the European award we are presenting in the name of Hyundai Motor Europe.”
