Monaco Grand Prix transforms into Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix: luxury meets adrenaline in 2026

The Monaco Grand Prix is set to undergo a dazzling transformation as luxury fashion powerhouse Louis Vuitton steps into the spotlight as its new title partner starting in 2026! This monumental agreement will see the prestigious race officially renamed to the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, marking a new era for one of the most iconic events in motorsport history.

In a game-changing multi-year deal with Formula 1 and the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM), Louis Vuitton replaces TAG Heuer, which held the title previously. This collaboration comes at a pivotal time as the famed race gears up for its 83rd edition next year, showcasing a colossal presence of Louis Vuitton branding around the circuit.

With a striking focus on premium lifestyle partnerships, the championship is capitalizing on the momentum generated by LVMH’s landmark 10-year global partnership established last year. Louis Vuitton, a jewel in the LVMH crown, is no stranger to the glitz and glamour of Monaco, having already made its mark with the bespoke trophy trunk that has become a symbol of the Grand Prix itself. The 2026 edition will showcase the sixth consecutive trophy trunk, crafted in Asnières and featuring a bold design that includes Monogram canvas reimagined in red, highlighting a striking white-and-red “V” motif that pays homage to both “Vuitton and Victory” as inspired by the Monaco flag.

Greg Maffei, president of Liberty Media, expressed his enthusiasm about this partnership, stating, “LVMH and Formula 1 are two global brands that consistently push the boundaries of creativity and innovation, values core to Liberty Media. We were thrilled to work with one of the LVMH Maisons during the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, and we are excited to deepen our relationship as they become a Global Partner. This opportunity to scale our commercial arrangements is emblematic of the vision we have for Formula 1 as we continue to grow.”

Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1, praised the partnership, noting, “Our sport is founded on the relentless pursuit of excellence, a value that also lies at the heart of LVMH. I am delighted to announce this historic partnership will begin in 2025. As Formula 1 expands globally, attracting diverse audiences, the strength of LVMH makes it the perfect partner for us to enhance the experience of our fans and preserve the heritage of our incredible sport. This is a landmark partnership for both companies, and I would like to thank Bernard and Frédéric Arnault for their vision and commitment to bring this to life.”

As the countdown to 2026 begins, fans and racing enthusiasts alike can expect a Grand Prix experience like no other, blending the high-octane thrill of motorsport with the luxurious flair of Louis Vuitton. The Monaco Grand Prix is not just a race; it’s an opulent spectacle that continues to evolve, promising excitement and sophistication for years to come. Buckle up, because the future of the Monaco Grand Prix is about to get a dazzling upgrade!
