Mobi.E: carregamento de veículos elétricos aumentam 47% em junho

The Mobi.E network recorded a new record of electric vehicle charging in June, exceeding 727,000, which represents an increase of 47% compared to the same month in 2024, carried out by more than 122,000 distinct users. As for the energy consumed, it surpassed 16.5 GWh, an increase of 63% compared to June of last year.

According to Mobi.E, in the sixth month of the year, an average of 24,244 charges were carried out per day, the highest average ever, representing an increase compared to the 22,978 charges recorded in May.

Thus, in the first half of 2025, the number of charges exceeded 3.9 million, an increase of 48% compared to the same period in 2024. The day with the highest absolute number of charges was June 27, Friday, with more than 28,700.

In the first six months of the year, the energy consumed by electric vehicles increased by 61%, compared to the same period last year, reaching 87,000 MWh. As for distinct users, it grew by 52% to 256,500.

Another important fact is that, as of June 30, the power available from the network exceeded 401,000 kW, surpassing the requirement set by the European regulation for the creation of infrastructure for alternative fuels (AFIR), which stipulates that there must be a power of 1.3 kW for every 100% electric vehicle and 0.8 kW for every plug-in hybrid vehicle.

At the end of June, the public charging network consisted of 6,432 stations, which corresponds to 11,949 points (outlets that can be charging simultaneously). Of these, more than 2,456 were fast or ultra-fast charging (with power greater than 22 kW), representing 38.2% of the total network.

In terms of environmental savings, in June, the use of the Mobi.E network prevented more than 13,300 tons of carbon dioxide from being emitted into the atmosphere, which the company reveals to be “a new record in a single month.”

“It would take more than 219 thousand trees, in an urban environment, with 10 years, to retain the same CO2. Taking into account the first six months of the year, more than 70,500 tons of CO2 have already been saved”.
