Mitsubishi has announced that the new generation of the Outlander PHEV will be revealed on October 1st, representing a significant leap forward for the brand, both in bold design and advanced technology.
It is already known that the design of the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV embodies the latest interpretation of the brand’s “Sculpted Dynamism” philosophy.
The Dynamic Shield front signature, along with the wide and powerful flanks, gives the Outlander PHEV a dominant presence and stable stance, which is enhanced by the distinctive high-tech full LED lighting system.
The new Outlander PHEV, designed for the European market, is equipped with an all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid system featuring a dual motor, with the Super All-Wheel Control system standing out by providing superior levels of safety, control, and stability in all conditions.
The powertrain, based on EV technology, uses a newly developed high-capacity battery for long-range electric driving, also providing acceleration with high precision and responsiveness.
As for the interior, Mitsubishi has chosen to harmonize design, technology, and the classic high manufacturing standards of Japan, combining large screens with premium quality materials.
Furthermore, the brand promises that traditional Japanese characteristics are reflected in the onboard experience. To achieve this, the new generation of the Outlander PHEV is equipped with the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Ultimate and the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium, state-of-the-art audio systems resulting from the partnership between Mitsubishi Motors and Yamaha.
The collaboration between the two brands has enabled the creation of a high-level acoustic experience, such that the vehicle’s body and interior have been carefully designed to complement the audio system and provide an environment capable of satisfying even the most demanding audiophiles.
It is already known that the production of the new generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander is set to begin at the end of 2024.
