The Microlino is an electric vehicle for driving in Portugal from the age of 16, which brings back the spirit of the legendary 1950 BMW Isetta, with its two-seater body and a front door, in a combination that combines strongly retro and modern style elements. The small city car is expected to arrive on the national market in the summer by the hands of Grupo Astara, initially in the Lite version, which can be reserved from today on the official website of the Swiss manufacturer.
The Microlino Lite measures only 2.5 meters in length, 1.47 meters in width, and 1.5 meters in height, for a featherweight of about 600 kg, and is equipped with an electric motor delivering 8 hp (peak of 12 hp), associated with a 5.5 kWh battery, announcing 100 km of autonomy, or with the larger 11 kWh battery, for about 180 km between charges.
Presented today at the Geneva Motor Show, the Microlino Lite has not yet had its prices revealed, but it is known that Micro intends to make available in several markets a subscription model for 165 euros per month for four years for customers who make an initial deposit of 25% of the vehicle’s value.
Commercially, the Lite will be positioned below the price of the more powerful versions of the Microlino (maximum speed of 90 km/h), whose prices start at €17,990!
