Mick Schumacher aconselhará Sebastian Vettel sobre Le Mans após estreia na Alpine.

Mick Schumacher is set to make his first appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race alongside the Alpine team, as Sebastian Vettel has chosen not to participate in this iconic event.

Schumacher, who previously competed in Formula 1 for a short period before being removed from the Haas F1 team due to his poor performance, has been overshadowed by being the son of a legendary Formula 1 driver. However, his passion for racing has not diminished and he continued his career as a reserve driver for Mercedes. Now, he is preparing to compete in the World Endurance Championship with Alpine, further solidifying his connection with the team.

After leaving Formula 1, Schumacher had the opportunity to race for Alpine in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Before making that decision, he had considered joining the IndyCar series, but ultimately chose WEC as a stepping stone to his ultimate goal of returning to Formula 1. When asked about Vettel’s supposed participation in WEC, Schumacher expressed his support for the veteran driver, regardless of the category of motorsport.

Although Schumacher has never raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans before, he is excited about the new experience. He acknowledges that it will be amazing and challenging for him, but he is willing to share his thoughts with Vettel on whether it is worth participating in this iconic race. This demonstrates the strong friendship between the two drivers.

Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship are distinct forms of motorsport. The 24 Hours of Le Mans in WEC are known for their long duration, in contrast to the fast-paced nature of Formula 1. Schumacher believes that F1 cars have evolved significantly since Jenson Button’s time, while the chassis of Le Mans cars are simpler and easier to handle.

However, there are also similarities between the two categories. Schumacher reveals that the steering wheel in Le Mans cars offers several options, although they are less complex than those in Formula 1. Overall, he considers Formula 1 a more intricate and complex sport compared to Le Mans.

Fans are eager to see Schumacher’s performance in the WEC, as he has acquired valuable experience since his time in Formula 1. His participation in this championship is crucial for his chances of making a return to F1. Therefore, Schumacher aims to stand out in this prestigious race and make a strong impression this year.
