It is called MHero, it is one of three Chinese brands from the Dongfeng Motor Corporation universe that will arrive in Portugal, still this year, through Salvador Caetano, bringing in its catalog what is presented as the Chinese Hummer. An exclusively electric “super SUV”.
The MHERO I, strongly inspired by the lines of the new GMC Hummer EV, will be available with four electric motors, one on each wheel, for a combined power of 1088 hp. The 150 kWh capacity battery allows up to 500 km of autonomy with one charge.
With a length of 4.987 meters and almost 3 meters between axles, the MHERO I can also be equipped with range extender, to allow up to 800 km between charges.
Among the off-road credentials, up to 335 mm of ground clearance, with 900 mm of wading depth and very favorable maximum approach, breakover, and departure angles (36.8°/27.9° and 37.5°).
With the “Chinese Hummer” and M-Hero, Salvador Caetano will bring two more brands from Dongfeng Motor Corporation to Portugal, one of the largest automotive groups in China, with sales of 2.42 million cars in 2023.
Donfeng and Voyah Motor have more extensive portfolios, focusing on more commercial formats (SUVs and sedans) for various European segments.
