The British brand MG, which belongs to the Chinese automotive group SAIC, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion with the launch of the Cybertser, a roadster that will hit the market in the summer.
The MG Cyberster marks the return of the historic British brand to its sporting origins, as it is a 2-seater roadster with modern lines, but clearly inspired by the past, including scissor doors and a canvas top, adding to that a fully electric powertrain.
In its version with two electric motors, one per axle, the Cyberster is expected to offer two battery options of 64 and 77 kWh, single and dual motor for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, making it the first MG roadster with traction.
A pre-production unit passed through Portugal in 2023 and it is already known that the MG Cyberster is expected to come with a lot of technology and premium details, as we can confirm in a video that has just been revealed on social media, confirming that the MG roadster will not use a Yoke steering wheel, without the upper part of the rim, as initially appeared in the prototype.
