Mercedes se recusa a fornecer concorrentes com cronograma para melhorias na W15 após melhoria significativa no desempenho.

Mercedes has accumulated a total of 151 points in the current 2024 Constructors’ Championship. The performance of the Mercedes Formula 1 team has been less than stellar during the ground effect era. However, this year seems to be different as the team has shown a noticeable improvement since Monaco.

During the recent Spanish Grand Prix weekend, both Mercedes team drivers, Andrew Shovlin and the unidentified teammate, had exceptional performances in their respective W15 cars. Thanks to the updates made to the vehicles, they were able to secure solid third and fourth places.

Recognizing the improved performance, Mercedes is being cautious in revealing their timeline for future updates in order to maintain an advantage over their rivals.

Mercedes has confirmed that the updates will be introduced in the upcoming races. According to Andrew Shovlin, the updates will focus on aerodynamic and mechanical development. The team is determined to keep these improvements confidential.

The reaction of the Mercedes Track Engineering Director indicates that the team is making every effort to keep their plans confidential. They are fully aware of the significant progress they have made and do not want to provide any information that could benefit their competitors.

Although Mercedes is not disclosing their timeline for updates, Shovlin is extremely pleased with the work done behind the scenes. He believes that if the team continues to perform well, they will have a chance to compete for victories.

Mercedes currently has accumulated a total of 151 points in the Constructors’ Championship.

The ongoing 2024 World Championship is shaping up to be a battle between four teams: Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari, and Mercedes. All four teams have shown significant improvement and are in contention for the title. It is likely that the winner of this season will be determined by who can outperform their rivals in terms of development.
