More than 200,000 drivers are already using the Mercedes me “Eco Coach” application, which allows for improving the driving behavior of electrified vehicles.
Just like a digital personal instructor, the application offers helpful suggestions and encourages drivers of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to drive more efficiently.
The Mercedes app allows drivers to compare their performance with others and compete against each other. Each successfully completed challenge is rewarded with points, which can be used in the integrated bonus program to promote sustainable projects.
In this way, the “Eco Coach” community is motivated by the application to improve individually, combining entertainment with efficient driving, thus creating greater environmental awareness.
Mercedes also revealed that the application now has a new functionality of surveys and comments that offers users the opportunity to play an important role in the development of the application. Through direct contributions and sharing different perspectives, the comments function can be used to submit specific suggestions for implementing features in the application, creating a dynamic and responsive foundation for the development of the application.
