Mercedes has decided to pay tribute to the 1980s G-Class with a special limited edition, the Edition Stronger.

This new edition of the well-known Mercedes SUV features a set of details that recall the original model, particularly the grille, lower body protection, wheel arches, and exterior mirror covers in Night Black Magno, which contrasts with the body paint available in Solid Agave Green or, alternatively, Colorado Beige.
Also on the exterior, notable are the classic 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels that enhance the image of this Edition Stronger version.

Also noteworthy is the “Schöckl Proved” emblem mounted on the B-pillar, which has been updated to represent the original G-Class, and at the rear, the Mercedes-Benz brand uses the same font from the 1980s, with the turn signal lights, the traditional “blinkers,” appearing in orange.

Inside, the highlight is the leather seats upholstered in Dove Grey checkered fabric, along with the inscription “Stronger than the 1980s” on the passenger grab handle located on the dashboard. Additionally, the central console features the unit number of this limited edition, which is restricted to 460 units.

Mechanically, the special Edition Stronger of the G-Class is based on the standard G450d, equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder Diesel engine that delivers a power output of 382 hp.
