Mercedes EQS agora com uma estrela vertical e mais autonomia

The Mercedes-Benz has updated the EQS, the electric flagship of the German brand, which gains more autonomy and a vertical star on the hood. The update that the EQS underwent stands out for the increase in battery capacity from 108.4 to 118 kWh, allowing to announce a range of about 800 kilometers, which is 82 km more than its predecessor. In addition, Mercedes engineers have improved the regenerative braking system to recover even more energy that can be converted into range. Versions equipped with all-wheel drive can now tow up to 1700 kg, a significant increase compared to the 750 kg of the predecessor, which means they can achieve a level similar to SUV derivative models. The update of the electric model from Mercedes-Benz launched in 2021 also involved the exterior design, with a front section featuring a new grille with chrome applications, standard in the Electric Art design line. The chrome slats and embedded create a contrast with the deep black surroundings. This grille is combined with a vertical star on the hood to shape the modern look of the EQS, with the iconic and status symbol of Mercedes-Benz.

In the cabin, the environment is even more sophisticated, benefiting from the three screens that make up the Hyperscreen and are now part of the standard equipment.

The EQS is equipped with rear seats with an additional 5 mm of padding and with the ability to adjust between 27 and 36 degrees. In addition, the cushions now feature contrasting stitching, as well as Nappa leather coverings.

The passenger seat can be folded forward and the backrest of the rear seat can be adjusted up to 38 degrees. This feature provides more space. Optional equipment also includes heating for the neck and shoulder areas of rear seat passengers, as well as pneumatic adjustment of the seat depth. An illuminated lining component is integrated into the front seat backrests.

The high-quality details in the interior are also evident in the ventilation outlets in the B pillars, which now feature a frame coated in galvanized chrome.
