Megan Bruce makes history: 2026 F1 Academy seat secured with TAG Heuer and Campos Racing

Rising Star Megan Bruce Lands Coveted 2026 F1 Academy Seat with TAG Heuer and Campos Racing!

In a thrilling development that has electrified the motorsport world, British racing prodigy Megan Bruce has secured a prestigious seat in the F1 Academy for the much-anticipated 2026 season. Representing the iconic TAG Heuer brand, Bruce is set to make waves in the all-female racing championship, following her impressive one-off debut in Singapore in 2025.

At just 21 years old, Bruce's meteoric rise in competitive racing has captured the attention of fans and experts alike. After only three years in the sport, she has already established herself as a formidable competitor. Her journey began in the 2023 Caterham Academy, where she clinched her first podium finish after just five races. This success paved the way for her transition to the Caterham 270R Championship, where she continued to showcase her exceptional talent.

The year 2024 marked a significant milestone as Bruce made her single-seater debut in the GB4 Championship, where she impressively recorded nine top-10 finishes. “I’m really excited to be joining TAG Heuer and Campos Racing for the 2026 F1 Academy season,” Bruce expressed enthusiastically. “TAG Heuer has a major presence in motorsport, supporting many successful athletes in F1 and other sports. Having started this journey just three years ago, I’m super grateful for their belief in me and giving me this opportunity.”

Bruce’s experience has been further enriched by her participation in the inaugural F1 Academy Rookie Test and the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, solidifying her reputation as a rising star in the competitive landscape of motorsport. In a heartfelt announcement on social media, she shared her excitement: “Announcement!! I am so excited to announce I will be racing in F1 Academy with TAG Heuer and Campos Racing! TAG Heuer has a massive presence and history in Formula 1 and motorsport, so I am honored they have put their belief in me to represent them in F1 Academy.”

Reflecting on her rapid ascent in the sport, Bruce noted, “There’s been a lot of hard work to make this happen, and I want to give a big thank you to everyone I’ve worked with who’s helped me develop as a driver and given me these new opportunities. To think I started this journey just three years ago after a project to build a race car for the Caterham Academy, to now racing alongside F1, I would say is all one massive dream.”

The excitement is palpable as Bruce has already kicked off her season with Campos Racing, having completed her first test in Shanghai just weeks ago. With a plethora of new tracks and experiences on the horizon, she is gearing up for a transformative season. “I cannot wait to keep learning and give it everything this season! Bring on 2026,” she proclaimed, with the fervor of a true competitor.

As the motorsport community eagerly anticipates the upcoming season, all eyes will be on Megan Bruce as she embarks on this exhilarating new chapter in her racing career. Buckle up, because the future of racing is about to get a whole lot more thrilling!
