The Fiat Panda is preparing for a significant transformation in its next generation, evolving into an ultra-compact crossover that promises greater interior space and a higher stance. Internally nicknamed the “Mega-Panda,” this new concept suggests that the Panda will adopt a more robust and utilitarian approach, while remaining true to the characteristics that have defined the model since its launch in 1980.
Fiat plans to offer the new Panda with a range of powertrains, including combustion and electric options, aiming to cater to a wide demographic of customers and the diverse needs of different markets. Although specific technical details have not yet been revealed, it is expected that the electric version of the Panda will produce 111 hp and be available with two battery options, offering ranges of 200 to 350 kilometers.
The new electric Panda is designed to be one of the most affordable full-size electric cars on the market, with an expected starting price below €20,000.
With its elevated driving position and robust design, the Panda aims to be the perfect ally for customers worldwide, especially in congested urban environments, without sacrificing capacity and versatility for family weekend trips and vacations.
