The Director of Team McLaren left jaws dropped as the team’s performance soared above all in the Miami Grand Prix. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri claimed the first and second spots, leaving George Russell in the dust over 30 seconds behind in third place.

Andrea Stella credited their unexpected lead to exceptional tire management and a highly efficient cooling system, particularly effective in hot conditions. He commended McLaren’s engineering team for crafting a car that excels under thermal stress, pointing to the behind-the-scenes work at the McLaren Technology Center as a key factor in their success.

Stella expressed his astonishment at the remarkable difference their tire and cooling strategies made during the race, highlighting the team’s prowess in handling these crucial elements of Formula 1 racing. He emphasized the impact of McLaren’s engineering excellence, especially in hot conditions, where their car’s aerodynamic design and cooling system play a pivotal role in securing victory.

The McLaren team’s outstanding performance in Miami has not only solidified their position as a force to be reckoned with in the world of Formula 1 but has also raised the bar for their competitors. Stella’s revelation sheds light on the intricate and often underestimated aspects of racing that can make or break a team’s chances on the track.
