In a thrilling development that’s set to send shockwaves through the Formula 1 world, McLaren has officially teamed up with the legendary engine oil powerhouse, Motul, as their new Official Supplier starting in the 2026 season! This exciting collaboration promises to elevate the performance of the McLaren F1 team to unprecedented heights with Motul’s cutting-edge high-performance lubricants.

Founded in 1853, Motul boasts a storied legacy as one of the elite names in the lubricant industry, making this partnership a match made in motorsport heaven. As McLaren continues to bolster its roster of strategic partners, this deal comes on the heels of their recent announcement of banking titan Mastercard stepping in as the title sponsor. Clearly, McLaren is on a relentless pursuit to solidify its dominance in the racing arena!

In a powerful statement, Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer of McLaren Racing, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are delighted to welcome Motul to the McLaren Formula 1 Team. Motul has a proud history of innovation and technical excellence, attributes that closely mirror our own legacy. We look forward to working together in this exciting partnership.” This sentiment highlights the synergy between the two brands, both committed to pushing the envelope of performance.

Andreea Culcea, Chief Brand and Communications Officer for Motul, couldn’t contain her excitement either: “This partnership with McLaren marks Motul’s return to Formula 1, a discipline where we have written some of the most exhilarating moments of our history. This is a great opportunity to combine both of our expertise in the pursuit of performance and innovation. We are particularly proud that our fluids contribute to the outstanding performance of one of the most prestigious racing teams in the world.” Her words resonate with the anticipation of what this collaboration could unleash on the racetrack.

As the McLaren team gears up for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix this weekend, they are riding high on a wave of success, sitting comfortably at the top of the Constructors’ Championship, with a commanding lead over Ferrari. The stage is set for a thrilling showdown, and with Motul’s expertise in their corner, McLaren is poised to continue its dominance in the sport.

In this high-octane world of F1 racing, partnerships like this are not just beneficial—they are vital. As McLaren and Motul join forces, fans can expect nothing short of spectacular performances and groundbreaking innovations that may redefine the future of motorsport. Buckle up, because the McLaren-Motul alliance is ready to take the racing world by storm!
