McLaren sugere que Lando Norris tem potencial para ser campeão mundial, semelhante a Fernando Alonso e Michael Schumacher.

Lando Norris, a talented driver in the modern Formula 1 grid, has been competing in the sport since 2019. He achieved his first Grand Prix victory at the Miami GP this year and has since shown a remarkable improvement in his skills and performance.

Today, the 24-year-old McLaren F1 driver will start the Austrian GP Sprint race in second place. Recently, his team boss acknowledged Norris’ exceptional talent and compared him to renowned world champions, including Fernando Alonso, Michael Schumacher, and others.

Stella, the team boss, truly believes that Norris possesses all the qualities of these renowned drivers. Despite his young age, Norris has a promising future ahead, with McLaren’s progress indicating the possibility of him winning the world championship this year. Currently, he is 69 points behind the current leader of the 2024 drivers’ championship.

During yesterday’s sprint qualifying, Norris once again demonstrated his skills, securing second place. He expressed his determination to give his best during the Austrian GP weekend. Although he narrowly missed out on pole position, Norris remains positive and ready to give his maximum effort.

Looking ahead to the exciting Austrian GP Sprint race, Norris aims to accumulate as many points as possible. However, he faces a tough challenge in the form of the current world champion, Max Verstappen. Verstappen has already triumphed in seven out of the ten races held this year.
