Stella speculated that even without the safety car's intervention, Piastri would have faced an uphill battle against Antonelli, who had displayed a blistering pace. “We will never know whether, without the safety car, it would have been possible or not,” he reflected. “I think it would have been possible against Russell. Antonelli had a faster pace than anybody else. So, I think at some stage, he would have competed for the victory.”
Ultimately, Stella urged the team to focus on the positives from this thrilling race day, emphasizing the progress they have made. “It doesn’t make a big difference. I think today we should just take the positives,” he concluded.
