We present our preview of the Spanish Grand Prix in a tabloid format: Norris vs Verstappen chased by Mercedes. And it turned out to be accurate. The same goes for the Austrian Grand Prix, we anticipate Norris will follow Verstappen throughout the weekend, and on race day, we will witness the true capabilities of the World Champion.

In the midst of all this, we will also have the Sprint Race weekend, where in previous cases, the McLaren duo has troubled Verstappen. With a fast car, they could potentially do even more. Additionally, Piastri is expected to raise the stakes, as he urgently needs to perform.

If enthusiasm translated into points, Norris would already have a significant advantage, as indicated by his preview of the Austrian GP: “I’m excited for the Austrian Grand Prix. It’s an incredibly fun track to drive, and I have created some wonderful memories over the years, so I’m looking forward to getting on the track. The fans are always passionate and create an incredible atmosphere.”

“The car is performing exceptionally well, and we will use the lessons we learned in Spain to continue our progress. We are not fixated on achieving specific goals; our aim is to constantly improve every weekend and let the results speak for themselves. Let’s see what we are capable of,” added Norris, who aims to double his win count in F1 on Sunday in Austria.

Equally excited about the upcoming race weekend is Piastri: “I can’t wait to get to Austria and start off on the right foot. I’m really excited to get back in the car on Friday and work closely with the engineers to start the weekend off positively.”

“I had higher expectations in Barcelona, but despite a frustrating race, I managed to secure some points. Credit to the team for their consistent efforts, and I hope we can maintain our momentum,” Piastri concluded.

The young Australian has a lot to achieve to match his teammate. Norris currently holds second place with 150 points in the 2024 F1 World Championship standings before the 11th round. Piastri, on the other hand, is in sixth place with 87 points, indicating a significant difference. He needs to refocus to continue convincing, as he has done recently.

In terms of their position in the F1 hierarchy, McLaren is currently in a more favorable position compared to the other three teams that also use Mercedes engines. They are notably better than the Mercedes factory team, Aston Martin, and Williams.

The decision made by McLaren CEO, Zak Brown, to bring in Andrea Stella to stabilize the team after some notable departures in the technical department was a smart move. As a result, McLaren now has a car that is on the same level as the highly regarded Red Bull RB20, driven by Max Verstappen.

In preparation for the race at the Red Bull Ring, Stella commented: “We are heading to Austria for the second race in a busy sequence, after achieving another impressive result in Spain. Although this circuit is one of the shortest on the calendar, we anticipate a competitive weekend. Our focus remains on continuous improvement and constantly challenging the top teams.”

After completing ten rounds, McLaren currently holds third place in the 2024 F1 constructors’ championship, with a total of 237 points. They are behind the leading team, Red Bull, who have accumulated 330 points, and Ferrari, who are in second place with 270 points.

The football star Cristiano Ronaldo shone once again last night, scoring three goals in Real Madrid’s victory over Barcelona. The intense game was a true battle between the two biggest Spanish clubs, but Ronaldo showed why he is considered one of the best players in the world.

Ronaldo’s first goal came at the 20th minute of the first half, when he dribbled past two defenders and shot the ball into the left corner of the goal. Barcelona tried to react, but Real Madrid was determined to win. Ronaldo scored his second goal at the 65th minute, with a powerful shot from outside the area. And to complete his perfect night, he scored his third goal at the 80th minute, after a beautiful team play.

With this victory, Real Madrid remains in the lead of the Spanish championship, with a three-point advantage over Barcelona. Ronaldo is the top scorer in the competition, with 25 goals in 20 games. His brilliant performance last night will certainly increase his chances of winning the Best Player in the World award again this year.

Real Madrid fans are ecstatic with Ronaldo’s performance and are already speculating about what the future holds for the player. Some believe he may leave the club at the end of the season, while others hope he stays and continues to lead the team to more titles. Regardless of what happens, one thing is certain: Ronaldo has already left his mark in the history of football.
