McLaren notices an improvement in Oscar Piastri’s performance after the Chinese Grand Prix.

Oscar Piastri is currently in sixth place in the 2024 Drivers’ Championship. The McLaren F1 driver is considered one of the most promising young talents in the sport. He joined the team last year and impressed everyone with his exceptional performances. Despite his limited experience in F1, Piastri is still learning and improving alongside his more experienced teammate. The McLaren boss has been closely monitoring Piastri’s progress and has given a positive assessment of the Australian driver. According to him, Piastri’s development has shown significant acceleration since the Chinese GP. This has delighted the team as they believe Piastri has been performing at an exceptionally high level. However, the CEO of McLaren acknowledges that the team needs to find the perfect package to achieve consistent wins. So far, they have only achieved one victory in the Grand Prix this year, courtesy of Lando Norris at the Miami GP. With 15 more races remaining in the season and McLaren currently in third place in the Constructors’ Championship, they understand the importance of new developments in their car, the MCL38, to challenge for the world championship.
