McLaren introduz grandes atualizações para o Grande Prêmio de Fórmula 1 em Miami.

Lando Norris, from Great Britain, will be driving the McLaren MCL38 in the upcoming Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami. The team has made significant changes to the car, including a new floor, front wing, front suspension, and engine cover. McLaren has also revised the sidepod inlet, brake ducts, winglets, rear suspension, and cooling openings. These updates are expected to improve the car’s performance. Oscar Piastri, speaking at a press conference, expressed optimism about the improvements and is hoping for a positive result in the race.

On the other hand, Ferrari has chosen not to introduce any updates in Miami. Instead, they plan to bring a revised version of their SF-24 car for the Imola race.

Mercedes and Aston Martin, along with McLaren, have opted to bring an upgrade package to Miami. Mercedes has introduced a modified floor on their W15 car and made minor adjustments to the front suspension. Additionally, they have made specific changes to their 2024 charger to suit the characteristics of the Miami circuit. These changes include extra cooling openings to handle the heat and a reduced cord front wing flap to complement a low drag rear wing setup.

At Aston Martin, all changes have been made in accordance with the arrival of F1 in Florida and the unique street circuit around the Hard Rock Stadium. The front, rear, and central wing of the AMR24 have been adapted for a lower drag configuration. The team has also made improvements to enhance engine and driver cooling.

In the lower half of the Championship standings, Alpine decided not to make any further changes to their A524 car. However, Pierre Gasly received the updated specification car that his teammate Esteban Ocon debuted in Shanghai.

RB made adjustments to their floor and rear diffuser to maintain their competitive position just outside the points. On the other hand, Haas opted for a more aggressive diffuser expansion for the floor of their VF-24 car.

Sauber brought modified wing settings specific to the Miami circuit both at the front and rear of their C44 car. Meanwhile, Williams made a performance-related modification to the rear edge trim of the front wing of their FW45 car.
