Sam Bird secured McLaren’s first victory in the Formula E championship by delivering an exceptional performance and executing an impressive overtaking maneuver on the final lap of the 2024 São Paulo E-Prix. This victory marked the end of a three-year drought for Bird, who surpassed his former teammate Mitch Evans to claim the top spot. Evans, in turn, finished in second place, while Oliver Rowland secured the third position on the podium.
