Mazda announced this Tuesday that the new generation of the CX-5, the brand’s best-selling SUV, will be unveiled on July 10th.
The Japanese brand has already announced that the third generation of the CX-5 will offer an internally developed hybrid powertrain, as well as a set of other improvements.
Mazda states that the new generation of the SUV has been designed to cater to a wide range of lifestyles, “this third-generation CX-5 promises to offer even more of what truly matters: a more confident design, greater comfort, and increased ease of use in everyday life, without losing the fidelity to the driving pleasure that defines every Mazda.”
Recently revealed images showed that the new CX-5 will feature a new design highlighting a relatively longer hood, giving the model a sportier profile, as well as redesigned bumpers.
In addition, the new generation of Mazda’s SUV will be equipped with a lighting signature, featuring new wider headlights and a grille with a new pattern.
