Max Verstappen, the four-time world champion, faced a nightmare at the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix, slamming his team Red Bull for a “BAD” performance after a disappointing eighth-place finish in qualifying. The weekend in Budapest proved to be a struggle for Verstappen and Red Bull Racing, with the team failing to find the pace needed to compete at the front.

From a forgettable Friday where the car lacked speed to a disappointing qualifying session where both Verstappen and teammate Yuki Tsunoda found themselves at the back of the timesheets, it was clear that Red Bull was facing significant challenges. Verstappen expressed his frustration with the car setup, citing understeer, lack of grip, and overall poor performance throughout the weekend.

Despite managing to secure a spot in Q3, Verstappen’s performance fell short, marking his slowest lap of the season and settling for eighth place, even behind other competitors. The Dutchman did not hold back in his criticism, calling the weekend “bad” and stating that nothing seemed to work as expected.

Stay tuned for more updates on the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix as the drama unfolds on the track, with Verstappen’s quest for redemption taking center stage amidst a backdrop of controversy and fierce competition in the world of Formula 1.
