The next round of the Formula 1 World Championship is an absolute debut, the Las Vegas Grand Prix. For this reason, there are many uncertainties, and Max Verstappen acknowledged that he still has a lot to prepare before this penultimate round of the year.
Quoted on the PlanetF1.com website, the Red Bull Dutchman confided that even in the simulator and video games, he has had little contact with the track: ‘I will deal with it when I get to the track. There is still a lot to do. I still need to go to the simulator. I don’t even know the track yet, to be honest. The last time I tried it in the F1 game, I think I hit the walls more than I went straight, so hopefully that won’t be the case when I start driving there!’
Verstappen expects a completely different scenario from the São Paulo Grand Prix and even possible surprises: ‘It will be very different from Brazil: very low temperatures, of course, at night. Street circuit. We have no experience there. We don’t know the grip of the track. It’s all new, so maybe it will give some surprises. I don’t know’.
