Max Verstappen fala sobre o conflito entre Jos Verstappen e Christian Horner.

The Austrian Grand Prix surprised the Red Bull team after a heated discussion between Jos Verstappen and Christian Horner. Red Bull had high hopes for a strong performance in their home race in Austria, and their efforts paid off despite the difficulties. However, the weekend took an unexpected turn for the Austrian team when Max Verstappen’s father got into a verbal argument with Christian Horner at the event.

Jos Verstappen, who competed in 106 Formula 1 races, was hoping to participate in the historic car parade at the Red Bull Ring. However, Christian Horner intervened and prevented the 52-year-old driver from participating. This disagreement triggered a war of words between Jos Verstappen, Christian Horner, and even Max Verstappen.

Max Verstappen broke his silence on the matter, expressing that such situations are unpleasant for everyone involved. He emphasized that his father’s motivation to drive the car was not personal, but rather for the delight of the fans. He also highlighted the warm reception that Red Bull received at the circuit, which further fueled his father’s desire to be part of the parade.

Jos Verstappen quickly withdrew his name from the event upon learning that he was no longer needed by the team. Max Verstappen, on the other hand, remained focused on performing well in the Austrian Grand Prix and maintaining a good relationship with his team members.

Despite the incident, Max Verstappen believes that such a scenario could have been avoided. The team will investigate the matter and determine who was at fault. For now, the Austrian team will direct their attention to the ongoing Austrian Grand Prix.

The difficulties of Red Bull with the pace also affected their performance in Spielberg. However, Max Verstappen managed to secure the victory in the Sprint race and will probably secure the pole position. The Austrian Grand Prix promises exciting emotion and action in its short circuit with several DRS zones. All eyes will be on Milton Keynes as the team seeks the best possible results.
