Max Verstappen surprised by Red Bull’s new car: ‘They were not conservative’

Red Bull presented its Formula 1 car for this year last Thursday and the RB20 immediately made an impact. It is very different from its predecessor, with technical solutions that are expected to make it even more competitive.

Max Verstappen will attack his fourth consecutive title with the team and, quoted by grandprix.com, he did not hide that he was surprised – praising the courage to take risks:

– I saw the designs in Abu Dhabi at the last race [of 2023] and I thought, ‘wow, there are big changes here’. They were not conservative, let’s say. The ambitious approach is what I like about our team. Risk? I call it controlled aggression. Time will tell if it is correct’.
