In a jaw-dropping display of skill and determination, Max Verstappen has once again proven why he is a force to be reckoned with in Formula 1. The latest Grand Prix in Canada may not have ended with a victory for the Dutch driver, but his stellar performance catapulted him to the 2nd position in a prestigious ranking, surpassing none other than the legendary Michael Schumacher.

Verstappen’s 2nd place finish in Montreal marked his 117th career podium, edging past Schumacher’s record of 116 podiums achieved with Ferrari from 1996 to 2006. What makes Verstappen’s feat even more remarkable is that all his podium finishes have been with a single team, Red Bull, showcasing his unwavering loyalty and exceptional talent.

Having clinched 65 victories, along with 34 2nd place finishes and 17 3rd place finishes, Verstappen is now eyeing the top spot in the ranking currently held by another seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton. With Hamilton’s move to Ferrari this season after a stellar career with Mercedes, where he secured a total of 153 podiums, Verstappen is hot on his heels, determined to solidify his position as one of the all-time greats in Formula 1.

As Verstappen continues to rewrite the history books and chase down the giants of the sport, one thing is clear – the Red Bull prodigy shows no signs of slowing down, and his relentless pursuit of excellence is setting the stage for an epic battle at the summit of Formula 1.
