Max Verstappen revela possível design de zero side pod da Red Bull para o GP do Japão.

Red Bull arrives at the Suzuka International Racing Circuit with high expectations. The team’s RB20 has been hailed as a formidable contender for several reasons. Its unique design, with a vertical radiator inlet, creates a significant reduction in frontal area, reducing surface area and resembling the zero side pod design of the 2022 Mercedes car. The goal of this design is to minimize surface area while maintaining efficiency. Furthermore, the car’s aerodynamic philosophy and modern radiator technology allow for more compact coolers that still effectively reject heat. After a disappointing performance at the Australian GP, Red Bull plans to introduce a zero side pod design at the upcoming event in Suzuka. Despite limited information, team star driver Verstappen has managed to generate excitement and anticipation among Red Bull supporters. The team’s modified side pod design for the race weekend is expected to be a major topic of discussion starting from Friday’s Free Practice 1 session.

Current world champion Max Verstappen had a disappointing Australian GP, retiring from the race on the fourth lap due to a rear brake issue. However, this setback has not dampened his optimism for the event in Suzuka. The 26-year-old Verstappen expressed his eagerness for the race, highlighting the good pace he had in the laps he completed in Melbourne. Currently leading the 2024 Drivers’ Championship, Verstappen faces tough competition from Ferrari, who are just four points behind. As a result, the Japanese GP promises to be an exciting spectacle.
