Former Red Bull team boss launches scathing attack on the team following Max Verstappen’s controversial F1 race incident in Barcelona. The aftermath of Verstappen’s collision with George Russell continues to stir up drama in the F1 world, with the Dutch driver facing severe penalties and criticism from all angles. Verstappen’s 10-second time penalty and three penalty points have put him dangerously close to a race ban, sparking intense debate over who is truly at fault for the incident.

Notably, former Red Bull figure and Haas team principal, Guenther Steiner, did not hold back in his assessment of the situation. In a fiery podcast episode, Steiner labeled Red Bull as the ‘w***ers of the week’ for their handling of Verstappen’s race strategy. He criticized the team’s decision to switch Verstappen to hard tires late in the race, a move that ultimately backfired and led to the controversial collision with Russell.

The tension is palpable as Verstappen’s race ban looms large, with the driver currently at 11 penalty points on his license. With the threat of a ban if he reaches 12 points, Verstappen is walking on thin ice and must tread carefully in the upcoming races to avoid being sidelined.

The F1 community is abuzz with speculation and outrage, as the fallout from the Barcelona incident shows no signs of slowing down. Stay tuned as the drama unfolds on and off the track in the high-stakes world of Formula 1.
