Max Verstappen planeja sair da F1 antes de completar 40 anos para explorar outras categorias de corrida.

The future of Max Verstappen at Red Bull has been a topic of discussion recently due to the ongoing turbulence within the team. However, the Dutch driver seems uninterested in leaving and instead plans to retire from the sport before turning 40.

In the past, it was common for Formula 1 drivers to continue competing until they were 40 years old. But as the F1 landscape has changed, the average age of drivers on the grid has significantly decreased. This has led to earlier retirements and not reaching the age of 40 in the sport.

Contrary to this trend, Verstappen, who is currently 26 years old, has expressed his intention to leave F1 well before turning 40 and explore other forms of motorsport. This statement reflects his firm stance against F1’s plans to expand the calendar, something he has opposed. However, his retirement is still far off and he is expected to continue excelling for many years.

Despite his interest in other motorsports, Verstappen’s heart is still in Formula 1. He remains highly determined to stay at the top of the standings and experience the thrill of winning races, something he considers a dopamine rush. Victory is still his priority and he is not in F1 just for financial gain.

Verstappen openly admits to getting frustrated when he makes mistakes that could have been avoided. He takes responsibility for these errors, especially if they cost him victories. This demonstrates his desire to win and shows that he is not just competing for money.

Although Verstappen is expected to continue competing with Red Bull until 2025, there is a possibility of him joining the Brackley team if a spot becomes available.
