Max Verstappen: Pai reconhece luta de poder interna na Red Bull.

Despite the challenges they face, Jos Verstappen remains dedicated primarily to supporting his son, Max Verstappen, in his pursuit of a fourth consecutive drivers’ championship. Jos acknowledged a power struggle within the Red Bull Racing team and publicly suggested that team principal Christian Horner should resign. This suggestion comes after allegations of “inappropriate behavior” were made against Horner by an employee, but he was later cleared of these allegations by an independent investigation. However, the complainant has appealed this decision, leading to further speculation of discontent among key figures in the team, including Horner, chief designer Adrian Newey, advisor Helmut Marko, and Jos himself.

Jos remains focused on Max’s championship aspirations and has expressed concern about the internal team environment. He believes that stability and unity are crucial for success and hopes for a resolution that will allow the team to refocus on racing. Jos reassures that Max continues to perform well and has no issues working with the engineers. He emphasizes the competitiveness of the car and Max’s ability to handle distractions arising from team dynamics.

Christian Horner, amidst speculation about his future at Red Bull, has confirmed that he intends to continue as team principal and is directing his focus towards the upcoming Australian Grand Prix. Horner acknowledges Max’s contributions to the team and emphasizes the importance of collective effort and focus on achievements in races. He attributes the team’s success to collaborative efforts throughout the organization.

Despite the ongoing power struggles and speculations, the Red Bull team continues to face the challenges of Formula 1. Both Jos Verstappen and Christian Horner emphasize the importance of on-track performance and team unity as they approach the upcoming races.
