Max Verstappen expressa descontentamento com a queda da Red Bull em relação aos concorrentes em 2024.

Max Verstappen made it clear that Red Bull needed to increase their speed as their rivals started catching up to them in Milton Keynes. Despite starting from second position, Max Verstappen, along with Helmut Marko and Christian Horner, emerged victorious in the 2024 race. Despite having a potentially slower car than their competitors, Verstappen managed to secure the win. Christian Horner, the team principal, acknowledged that it is normal for other teams to keep up with their pace. However, Verstappen disagreed with this idea and expressed his dissatisfaction with Red Bull’s progress. He emphasized that last year, Red Bull had a dominant season and remained strong until the last race. However, this year presents more challenges, and Verstappen believes they need to be honest about their situation. He categorically stated that it is not something they should accept as normal or consider normal.

Verstappen firmly believes that the team should always strive for improvements, which is why he openly expresses his thoughts on their performance. Instead of settling for the win and claiming everything is fine, Verstappen takes a different approach. He believes that if the team considers it normal for other teams to catch up, it will become a reality. Verstappen admitted that he is always honest and critical because he is constantly seeking to be better. He hopes that everyone within the team adopts the same mentality.

Christian Horner explained that focusing on maximizing their performance will benefit Red Bull, especially considering the small differences between competitors. He emphasized the importance of dedication and staying focused throughout the long season ahead. Sergio Perez, on the other hand, believes that Red Bull has demonstrated significant strength in recent years. This makes it challenging for other teams to surpass them as the season progresses.

Perez acknowledged that McLaren currently has a slight speed advantage, but the difference between them and Red Bull is minimal. He believes that any update or improvement could quickly change the balance of power. Perez also highlighted the potential for change if other teams like Red Bull and Mercedes make improvements to their cars.

Undoubtedly, Sergio Perez is concerned about the need for additional improvements from Red Bull and the importance of bringing updates to avoid being overtaken by other teams. Fans are eager to see Red Bull’s performance next weekend, especially because it is the home race and winning is mandatory.
