Max Verstappen has achieved numerous accomplishments in Formula 1 since his debut almost ten years ago. The Dutch driver has won three world championships in the sport since joining in 2016. His exceptional performances have earned him a reputation as one of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history. This has led many to question how long Verstappen, now 26, will continue in the sport. While winning most of the world championships in F1 is considered the pinnacle of a driver’s career, Verstappen has stated that he has no further ambitions in the sport.

In the 2023 season, Verstappen broke several records by winning the world championship with an impressive win rate of 86.35%. Despite this success, the Dutchman is now content and has no specific goals. Verstappen has stated that he has no aspirations to continue in the sport. Instead, his focus is on maintaining his current form and securing victories in the top category of motorsport.

With 58 race wins in Formula 1, Verstappen currently holds the second position in the all-time wins table. The first position is still held by , who has an impressive 103 race wins. To surpass this record, Verstappen will need to compete for a few more years. However, the current world champion has already achieved all his goals in Formula 1.

Despite rumors of tensions within the team, Verstappen intends to stay at Red Bull at least until 2025. Other team members may choose to leave due to these alleged tensions. However, the Dutch driver is committed to staying at Red Bull beyond the next season. Verstappen has previously stated that not even an offer of $250 million would tempt him to leave Milton Keynes. Red Bull team principal, , confirmed that Verstappen is still part of the team and is happy with the group of engineers he works with.

Horner emphasized that Verstappen’s decision to stay is not only based on contracts, but also on his satisfaction with the team’s current prospects. The Dutch driver enjoys the dynamics within Red Bull and sees no reason to leave. Horner further added that Verstappen is thriving in the environment created by the team in Milton Keynes.

Therefore, it seems that Max Verstappen will continue racing for Red Bull at least until the end of his contract in 2028. The 26-year-old driver has a unique opportunity to make history with the Austrian team. As long as Red Bull continues to provide Verstappen with the best opportunities, he will not need to consider other options among drivers.
