In a stunning turn of events, Lando Norris has declared that Max Verstappen and Red Bull outperformed McLaren at the Emilia Romagna GP, leaving the Woking-based team in the dust. The McLaren driver, who had high hopes heading into the race, was left in awe of Verstappen’s sheer dominance on the track.

Verstappen’s flawless performance at Imola left Norris singing praises for the Dutchman’s speed and precision. Taking the lead early on and never looking back, Verstappen showcased why he is a force to be reckoned with in Formula 1. Norris had to acknowledge that McLaren was simply no match for Red Bull this time around.

Despite McLaren’s previous pace advantage over Red Bull this season, Norris admitted that Verstappen and his team had the edge in speed at the Emilia Romagna GP. The Briton’s respectful nod to Verstappen’s exceptional drive highlighted the Dutchman’s prowess on the track.

During the race, Norris found himself behind George Russell’s Mercedes, hindering his progress towards the front. However, recognizing an opportunity as Russell struggled with tire issues, Norris made a decisive move to overtake and secure a podium finish for McLaren.

In the end, Norris managed to outshine his teammate and secure a double podium finish for McLaren, despite not being able to catch up with the lightning-fast Verstappen. The Emilia Romagna GP proved to be a defining moment where McLaren had to bow down to Red Bull’s superiority on the track.
