MAVTV to broadcast entire Trans Am schedule live in 2024.

The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli has announced its broadcast lineup for 2024, which will bring live coverage of all National Championship races this season. In collaboration with MAVTV, the TA/XGT/SGT/GT and CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series events will be broadcasted live on MAVTV’s linear television network and its Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST) channel, MAVTV Select.

In addition to the live broadcasts, viewers can catch 60-minute highlight shows on MAVTV every Thursday during prime time following each race weekend. The CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series race will be shown at 8:00 p.m. ET, while the TA/XGT/SGT/GT race will air at 9:00 p.m. ET as part of MAVTV’s ‘World of Racing’ programming block. Trans Am’s programming will also feature the docuseries Road to Glory, which follows the progress of teams and drivers in the paddock.

Furthermore, all National Championship events will be available for live streaming on Trans Am’s YouTube channel (@TheTransAmSeries) and the SpeedTour TV YouTube channel (@SpeedTourTV).

Greenlight Television will continue as the production company for the seventh consecutive season, responsible for producing Trans Am’s live MAVTV broadcasts, MAVTV highlight shows, and YouTube live streams. They will also handle the international distribution of Trans Am, reaching a vast audience of over a billion homes. In addition, Greenlight will produce and live stream races for other SpeedTour properties, including the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), International GT (IGT), Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas), Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.), the Ligier JS F4 Series, and the Prototype Sprint Series Association (PSSA).

Renowned commentator Jonathan Green will return as the lead announcer in the broadcast booth, accompanied by various co-hosts providing expert analysis throughout the season. Ben Cissell will also be back as the pre-race, post-race, and pit-road reporter.

“We are incredibly proud of our broadcast package for 2024,” says Parella Motorsports Holdings Chief Operating Officer Michael Printup. “Every National Trans Am race will be aired live and in its entirety on network television, as well as streamed live on YouTube. This offers fans and motorsports enthusiasts unparalleled viewing options from the comfort of their homes. We are also thrilled to continue and strengthen our partnership with MAVTV, who have been exceptional broadcast partners since joining us last season.”

The 2024 Trans Am Series season will commence on February 22-25 at Sebring International Raceway.
