In a stunning display of skill and determination, Mattia Drudi of Heart of Racing has clinched the LMGT3 pole position at the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours event. The intense qualifying session saw Drudi’s #27 Aston Martin Vantage outshine the competition and secure the coveted top spot for the upcoming race on June 14-15.

The qualifying session was nothing short of dramatic, with only eight out of twelve cars making it through to the final shootout after the first Hyperpole session. Francesco Castellacci’s #54 AF Corse Ferrari faced a setback when he spun out, while Sean Gelael of United Autosports performed a quick power cycle to keep his #95 McLaren in the running.

In a surprising turn of events, Heart of Racing’s Aston Martin claimed pole position with Drudi’s impressive lap time of 3:52.789, edging out Alessio Rovera’s AF Corse Ferrari. Valentino Rossi also made his mark, securing the third spot in the #46 WRT BMW M4.

Iron Lynx made a strong impression with Maxime Martin clinching fourth place in the Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, marking a remarkable comeback for the team after a 26-year hiatus from Le Mans. Richard Lietz, a five-time Le Mans class winner, rounded up the top five in the #92 Manthey Porsche.

With each driver giving their all during the qualifying session, the stage is set for an exhilarating and fiercely competitive Le Mans 24 Hours race. Stay tuned as these top contenders battle it out for glory on the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe.
