The new Maserati MCXtrema is announced as the most powerful, sophisticated, and evolved model ever built by the Trident house, among those intended exclusively for track use.

The Modena brand has once again released the sports car on the track for testing that will take place until the end of April, before the delivery of the first model scheduled for the end of summer.

You already know that Maserati will produce only 62 units of the MCXtrema, for track use only, where drivers can take advantage of over 700 hp.

The engine powering it is the 3.6-V6 twin-turbo from the Nettuno family, debuted by the Modena brand in the MC20, but in an enhanced version capable of delivering over 100 hp more than the production model, offering an impressive 730 hp/7500 rpm and 730 Nm/3000 rpm – with a six-speed sequential gearbox transmitting power exclusively to the rear axle, equipped with a mechanical limited-slip differential.

Designed for track driving, the MCXtrema also features competition suspensions with overlapping triangles on both axles, as well as a carbon disc braking system and a specific exhaust system.
