Bridgestone announced that it was the brand chosen by Maserati to exclusively supply tires for the new Grecale Folgore, the first fully electric SUV from the Italian brand.
Bridgestone developed custom-made 20’’ Bridgestone Potenza Sport Enliten tires for the 100% electric model, which the tire brand says offer top performance on dry surfaces and are supported by a superior wet surface quality package, in order to keep driving the Maserati Grecale Folgore under control, with superior performance in difficult conditions, both on dry and wet surfaces.
In addition, Bridgestone revealed that the tire specifically developed for the new Maserati Grecale Folgore offers very low rolling resistance performance, allowing for an increased range of up to 500 km.
It is worth noting that Maserati’s 100% electric SUV is equipped with a 105 kWh battery, using 400 V technology. The Modena-based company points out that the Grecale Folgore offers over 500 hp of power, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, and reach a top speed of 220 km/h.
